Last month, we celebrated SESTEK’s 24th anniversary. I want to share some insights with you from our journey, which has spanned almost a quarter of a century, and talk about our plans for the future.
Since day one at SESTEK, we have aimed for innovation and perfection. Our first product was speech synthesis integrated with screen readers for the visually impaired, offering the highest quality and intelligibility of synthesis technology available at the time. This allowed tens of thousands of visually impaired individuals to access equal educational opportunities. As the next step, we launched our virtual operator product, which utilizes speech recognition technology, for our customers.
By 2011, we developed our Speech Analytics product, which introduced many firsts. This product enabled the automation of operational efficiency and quality processes in call centers. Following this, we released our voice IVR and finance bot products.
Artificial intelligence, which we have been using since 2000, gained significant momentum after 2020 with advancements in algorithms (transformers) and computational tools (GPUs). In line with this, we introduced our Knovvu product suite.
We created a cloud-agnostic infrastructure that enables much easier and faster development, aiming to deliver technological advancements to our customers as quickly as possible. We made numerous technological and algorithmic changes to our initial speech recognition and speech synthesis products throughout the process.
Today, alongside our Knovvu Analytics and Knovvu Virtual Agent products, we still offer the best speech recognition accuracy and the most natural speech synthesis technology.
We owe our success to our highly motivated and strong team. Our commitment to innovation is supported by our talented workforce and company values.
In the future, our top priority will continue to be investing in our human resources. By considering the complementary aspects of humans and machines, we aim to deliver rapid technological advancements to our customers in the most efficient way possible. We will maintain our pioneering and innovative role in using AI.
While AI may be a recent reality for many companies, it has been with SESTEK from the beginning and will continue to be a core part of our future.
